Picking up Sticks

This program is designed to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women build their self-esteem, learn and explore their culture and increase their individual capacity to deal with day-to-day life through a range of workshops and activities. The program was very popular in 2014/2015 with a total of 70 participants across the workshops. This program is flexible in terms of it being designed to meet the needs of the women in the community. This program continues to be run in partnership with Numula Family Safety project, Bridges program and external agencies as required.
