We’re Better Together
On Thursday 30th November, a special ‘Letter of Intent’ was formally signed which demonstrates an ongoing commitment between Metro North Health and Kurbingui Youth and Family Development to continue to deliver health preventative programs and health education sessions to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members onsite at Kurbingui via the Better Together Health Van.
Metro North Health Chief Executive, Jackie, and Executive Director Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Sherry signed the letter of intent alongside Kurbingui Youth and Family Development Chief Executive Officer, Glenda Jones-Terare.
To achieve health equity for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community by 2031, we need to work in partnership with local organisations, and we are grateful for the strong partnership in Kurbingui.
