DV Community Awareness Event – Westfield Chermside

Each year, the Queensland Police Service (QPS) collaborates with various government and non-government partner agencies to host an awareness event focused on domestic and family violence at Chermside Shopping Centre. 

This important event features staff from multiple QPS units, including the Vulnerable Persons Unit, Community Supporting Police, Police Recruiting, Crime Prevention, and Crime Stoppers. The primary goal is to foster conversations and increase community awareness about domestic and family violence.

This year, Kurbingui staff were delighted to join forces once again with QPS and partner agencies, reinforcing their shared commitment to raising awareness about Domestic Violence in the community. The event serves as a crucial platform for engagement and education, emphasising the importance of addressing and preventing domestic violence.
