SQW Building and Construction Trade Expo

On Thursday, October 10th, we hosted the Kurbingui Building and Construction Trade Expo, bringing together our SQW Construction Trainees, the Employment and Training Team, DESBT Team Members, and a diverse group of local Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. This collaborative event focused on exploring exciting employment pathways in the construction industry.
 
We are immensely grateful to the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, as well as participating companies such as Bridgeman, Bindi Lee Painters, LJ Crete, Anditt Building and Maintenance, Envision Energy, and Contract Resources. Their engagement and insights provided invaluable information and inspiration for our trainees, helping them envision their future career opportunities. Together, we’re building a stronger community through collaboration and support in the construction sector.
